Ronseal Timber Decking End Grain Protector 750ml (37334)

The Ronseal Decking End Grain Preserver was developed to preserve and protect end grain from water penetration, rot, and wood-destroying fungus and insects. The material is perfect for new cut ends and may be coated with a decking finish. It dries to the touch in 90 minutes and is simply applied with a brush. Per litre, it provides approximately eight square metre cover. Our Decking End Grain Protector is highly waterproof, which helps to lock out the water. It can be painted over with our stain or oil, so your deck will look great and stay healthy for longer. The end grain is the exposed cut edge of your decking. Our Decking End Grain Protector works best on a warm (above 10°C) dry day – so make sure rain isn’t forecast. Give your deck a good scrub and clean to remove excess dirt, grease and debris. Make sure the wood is clean and dry to help the protector soak in. Leave a maximum of four hours for the first coat to dry. Don’t forget that the rest of your decking needs protecting, not just the end grains! Use a stain or oil to protect the rest of your decking.
